RPSC Headmaster Syllabus 2017: The notification regarding the recruitment drive for the Headmaster position has been issued by the Public Service Commission of Rajasthan (RPSC). There are forty-two vacancies available for this post. Candidates selected through this drive will be posted in the state of Rajasthan itself.
RPSC Headmaster Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of this state job has been prescribed by the RPSC itself on its official website. There will be an objective type test, and this test will be of six hundred marks. The test will consist of two papers. Each paper will carry three hundred marks. Three hours will be given to the candidates for each paper. Only the questions of the MCQ (multiple choice questions) types will be asked in both the papers. During the evaluation of the answers, the evaluators will use the scheme of negative marking. One-third of the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
RPSC Headmaster Syllabus
The following five subjects will be covered in the first paper: History of the world, India, and Rajasthan Uses of IT and Computers in Teaching, General Science, Indian Economics and Politics and Geography of the Words, India and Rajasthan. The first and fourth subjects will carry eighty marks. The second, third, and fifth subjects will be of thirty, fifty and eighty marks.
The second paper will cover the following subjects: Statistics, Right to Compulsory and Free education to the Children Act (2009), English and Hindi (language ability Test), Mental Ability Test, Educational Management, Pedagogy and Psychology; and Current Affairs.
The section of Current Affairs will consist of the following: Indian Geography and History, National news, scientific observations, new inventions, India and the nations surrounding it, nations and their capitals, Indian economic issues, global issues, etc. For the section of General English, the following topics must be studied: grammar, phrases and idioms, shuffling parts of a sentence, comprehension, vocabulary, structure of sentences, subject-verb agreement, etc.
