Rajasthan University Recruitment 2017: The University of Rajasthan has released the notification of the recruitment process for the posts of Grade 2 Clerk, Lab Bearer, Junior Technical Assistant, Wireman/Electrician, Lab Assistant, Herbarium Assistant and Book Attendant. Details regarding this recruitment drive are discussed below.

Candidates wishing to apply for the Clerk post must have cleared SSC (senior secondary certificate) exam from any institute or board recognized by the Rajasthan Government. For the Lab Assistant post, a B.E, B.Tech or B.Sc degree from a recognized university is a must. Candidates applying for the Lab Bearer Post must have cleared SSC exam with science as the compulsory subject. A B.Sc degree in Botany from an authentic university will suffice for the Herbarium Assistant post. A B.Lib degree will be needed for the post of Junior Technical Assistant. Candidates applying for the Book Attendant post must have cleared SSC with courses in Library Science.
The upper age limit for all posts is thirty-five years. IT has been relaxed to forty years in cases of women candidates, ST and SC categories. All those who are regular employees of the university are not subjected to any age limit.
The application fee for the candidates of the general category and OBC (creamy layer) is one thousand rupees. However, those belonging to OBC NCL (non-creamy layer), and ST, SC needs to pay five hundred rupees. The application fee is one hundred rupees for physically handicapped candidates.
How to Apply
Candidates will need to visit the official portal of the University of Rajasthan and open the tab named ‘Recruitment’. This tab will display the link labeled ‘Recruitment for non-teaching posts’, which must be opened. The resultant web page will show the link named ‘Apply Online’. Candidates will then have to register themselves and click the link to online application form. After filling in the online application form, candidates must submit it through the ‘submit’ button. A print out of this form must be generated for future uses.
The online registration ha started from May 24th, 2017, and will end on 23rd June 2017.
